Sometimes we wish to be there,
where they fly at the speed of light,
where there is no yesterday
and no people with watery eyes.
Then we build castles of clouds,
surrounding them with dreams,
unfurling flags up on the towers,
watching the bluebird winging.
There we can hardly hear a sigh
or feel that we have become older.
But still, there's a moment when we die.

Sometimes we cry when we're here,
where time flies at the speed of light.
Today becomes yesterday
in just the blink of an eye.
We break our backs and shoulders
carrying our days on,
sitting behind the borders,
closing our eyes and believing
that we are here with the mission to cry.
Year after year...
They go by while we get closer to the day when we die.
