Time: Any.

From childhood days to moist graves we go.
Some even call it a long protracted jump.
Well, it is so, unless we fill it with some goals to go for,
unless we feel there should be something more.

And on your way, you'll need someone to lean on,
somebody close to you to embrace and smile.
You'll need a star to comfort you, someone to live for,
someone to whom you could give a wink before you die.

I used to think I sacrificed decades
of given time, and turned them into waste.
"Get rid of all the useless things", the wise men had told me once,
"wake up your dreams and use another chance".

The time has come for me to leave my footprints.
One, then another one, and more, and so on...
This world's to be explored, and in spite of all hints,
the shortcut to myself will not be shown.

Each one of us has a unique path to follow,
and we will walk upon it on our own.
Alone we cross the line and leave our bodies hollow,
yet, Inspiration's mode is also 'one-to-one'.

So, rise! The more we think of being mortal,
the more we have to value the time we've got to live.
Procrastinating for so long we almost lost our keys to happiness...
