about

This track appeared spontaneously, as an experiment with the chords, mood and tempo. That’s why we hear grand piano, brushes and bass (hopelessly trying to approach its sibling – double bass – playing manner). In addition to that, we brought our friend Davit Melkonyan to add the saxophone solo to this version of the title track from the first Van der Graaf Generator album.
Even though it is twice slower and twice longer than the original, it is the shortest track on our Tribute album. A kind of coda this was when we were recording it... but Tintagel was yet to be discovered.
Oh, I almost forgot to forewarn you: all the above-mentioned experiments resulted in an instrumental track. At least, this makes it somehow different and, hopefully, new.
