The story behind this version of the song written for Play Away (a British TV children’s programme) by Peter Hammill in 1979 is quite funny. Back in July 2015, a VHS tape with the recording of that particular show emerged from the old boxes found in the attic of a member of the earlier mentioned The Top of the World Club group. He decided to share it with the rest of the World. At the same time, the process of preparation of ‘All of Us Pilgrims’ (the tribute album created by the members of that group) has entered its most creative stage. To give a mental bow to the tribute album of the XX Century (‘Eyewitness – A Tribute To VdGG’, Mellow Records MMP 279, 1995), we decided to go for recording a non-album track, but choosing Tintagel was even more challenging because this track was never recorded for any release.
The original vocals recorded were intended just to play a guiding role for another singer, who eventually decided to leave them as they were. However, a fresh keyboard track had been added to form the new version that should end up on the ‘All of Us Pilgrims’ tribute album by The Top of the World Club members. In order to not bury the original mix, I decided to add it at the end of my album as a bonus track, which, I hope, will work fine as a link to the upcoming double album (to be released later this year).

Self-trained playing piano, guitar and later - bass, which allowed me playing and making a few recordings with various bands in Yerevan.
In 2014, joined a special project dedicated to the music of Peter Hammill and Van der Graaf Generator, which brought me back to studio work. Having released yet another successful solo tribute, started producing my own music.
